Large naked raku ceramic vase by British emerging contemporary artist Yixue Huang. This piece is made using special Raku clay, which is applied on top of each individual piece prior to firing in order to generate the thermal shock. The special tones are created as a result of the raku firing process, while the unique patterns are created during the cooling process. Each vessel is individually fired and hand-finished using Raku technique. Please note the product images are only for general reference, as each glaze will be different every time due to the unique nature of Raku. Bespoke designs are available on request.
